Well, today I posted a new cover! So much has happened since my last post in July. For one, I got my braces off in September (yay!). Grade 11 so far has been really good, but has come with a lot of homework. Christmas was amazing, and so was my Birthday (which was yesterday, the 29th). Wishing everyone a Happy New Year's! :)

Update

Hey, sorry it's been such a long time since I've updated. I guess the entire school year has gone by without me updating. Well, it was definitely a good year. I enjoyed it. I am now in summer school for Planning. Just recently, this past weekend, myself and other band students went and played at our band teachers wedding. I hated him throughout the entire year, but getting to see him for what he really is, made me realize he's not so bad. As for music, I've just posted 4 covers on YouTube, so comment, rate and subscribe! Thanks, Tayler

Sorry it's been a while since I last blogged. Well, I finally have a couple new covers up on YouTube with more to come! Well, it's November now, so I've been in school for a couple months already. Gymnastics has been going very well, even though we have a new coach. She's really nice :). My backwalkovers are looking beautiful. I do, however, have tennis elbow :(. It's sore sometimes. Anyways, just thought I'd pop in and update a bit! For whoever reads this, that is :).

xoxo
-Tayler
Another year is gone

Well, girls, it's been an amazing year at gymnastics, and sadly it has come to an end! I will see some of you over the summer, and some of you again in September! As for my coach, well, she's amazing! I gave her flowers, a card, and a toblerone! She wrote some amazing stuff on my report card! Well, I honestly don't know where I would be today without you. Definitely not where I am now, that's for sure. You've helped mold me into the "wonderful teenager" you said you've watched me grow into. I definitely could not be the "amazing CIT" I am today without your help. You inspired me to start being a CIT, and helped me along the way, especially last summer. I have always and will always look up to you! Thank you for not only being the best coach ever, but also someone I can trust and talk to. I love you so much!

I was right!

Boy was I ever right! I cried soooooooo much on Friday! I never got to go to the surprise party because someone flooded our school! I let Mrs. Tyler know about it, and we were crying, talking, and hugging while stuck outside! I had to leave, so she said she'd save me a piece of cake and take my yearbook, and told me to come see her Monday :). Today, I went to see her. Perfect timing! I was walking down the hall, and out she came! She was like "Aweh, Tayler, come give me a hug!". We talked and we went to the band room, where she saved my cake and my yearbook! Then I went to a math tutorial! After the tutorial, I noticed my calculator was missing, which was in my pencil case, which Mrs. Tyler had also taken and given back. I went to see her and asked if she had seen it. She gave me her keys to the band room and I checked, but it wasn't there. After going back to return her keys, she gave me a calculator! I'm gonna give it back after my exam Friday, which will be th true last goodbye! She thanked me for the words I wrote in the card, I saw that the flowers that I gave her were in a vase, and she did write in my yearbook! I looked for her message, and she had remembered that I told her that the page that said reserved was for her! She wrote these very kind words: "Taylor,
We've had a wonderful journey together. I'll miss you. All the best next year. Thank you for all your hard work!
 Luv' ya.
 C. Tyler"
She spelled my name wrong :(. Oh well! Love her anyways! Luv'ya too Mrs. Tyler! <3
A great teacher who changed my life...

Well, there's this amazing teacher names Mrs. Tyler. She teaches band. I had her for the first time last year and again this year. Going into band last year, I was a bit nervous, but I loved music and it was and still is my #1 passion! I didn't think it was possible for me to love music any more. I was wrong, because Mrs. Tyler made me love it more! She made me a better musician and taught me things that no one else could! I found who I was! She changed my life so much! Tonight was her last concert with us, as she is retiring! She cried throughout the concert, and afterwards. I cried throughout it as well. After our last song which was mass band, we all cried. I went up and gave her a hug, then a bunch of us gave her a group hug! After I left, I cried even more. Friday is our last day with her EVER, so I arranged a surprise party for her! I think that's when I am going to cry the most! She has no idea how much I appreciate everything she's done! She could've retired a few years ago, but her love of music and teaching it kept her here! Unfortunately, everyone has to retire eventually, and this is her time. I'm going to miss her a lot, and I hope she visits quite often! Love you Mrs. Tyler! You have truly changed my life! Thank you!

Good Bye Simon Cowell! :'(

Well, Simon, I don't know where to start! I've been watching American Idol since I was 6 years old. You've really made the show what it is! People may say you're mean, but Simon, you just tell it how it is! You're always truthful, even thought sometimes you don't say it very nicely ;). I've honestly enjoyed EVERY moment of Idol with you! Your comments make the show so funny! Paula was right about the show never being the same, but it wasn't the same without her either, but the show went on. The show will go on without you, even if the ratings do drop drastically! I have cherished all the moments that you have judged! 9 years! Wow! I have watched every single season! I think that you and Paula are the cutest thing ;). If I had to pick one of my favourite Idol memories that I have, it would be: SEASON 1 FINALE. When Kelly Clarkson won, I screamed (of joy)! It was such an intense moment, and no finale has ever been the same! I wish you GREAT luck on whatever comes your way! Have fun on X-Factor! Hope you enjoy the rest of your journey, even though it's no where near to being over yet! Good luck, and goodbye Simon Cowell! =D

American Idol Finale

So, as you all may know, Lee was the "winner." I put it in quotes because I think that Crystal was the true winner! It is a singing competition, and lets face it, Lee was always off pitch/tone/key. Crystal has been spot on this entire competition! Oh well, America votes, and apparently America likes Lee better. I think this is because more girls vote than guys, and so all the girls that are gaga over Lee, voted! My dad made a great point tonight though: If Lee hadn't won, he probably wouldn't have gone very far, so, even thought Crystal didn't win, she's going to go farther than Lee would have if he hadn't won. I think she'll go farther than him anyways!

I have a video up on YouTube that you can check out if you want to. Anyways, gotta go write another blog about American Idol and Simon Cowell!
